League of Legends is a game that is so huge and vast that making adjustments can be tricky. After all, one small change can affect the whole landscape of the game. Yet, the team at Riot Games are true to their players and do all they can to make the game work. With that, they have released the Patch Notes for update 7.5, which will contain a wide array of changes.
The team notes first though that the “Marksmen problem” that they’ve been addressing the last few weeks isn’t fully fixed. They apologize for this delay in fixing the problem, but they do promise that they are working on it. They also acknowledged that despite some recent changes and nerfs, certain characters are “tearing it up” in professional play, and will likely have to be nerfed again after some experimentation.
So, as for the Patch Notes, what’s being altered/changed/fixed? Well, the Rotating Game Mode is at it again, and from March 10th-March 14th, the game mode that’ll be active is Ascension. Need a fresher on Ascension? Riot Games has you covered.
For those wondering about the state of the new client for League of Legends, it’s still in beta. They did release an update recently, detailing their plan for eventually replacing the legacy client entirely.
Numerous bugs were fixed in this patch, many of them pertaining to particular champions. For example, Master Yi could kill an invisible champion with his passive Double Strike if the first strike killed a visible champion. That has been fixed. They also addressed a bug on Sion’s Decimating Smash, where if the player cast that attack while trying to attack a turret with a Basic Attack, the Basic Attack would get canceled.
Art was another key addition for this patch, as now all champions have recall animations. Also, there are two new skins that’ll be available in this patch in the forms of Dragon Sorceress Zyra and Dragonslayer Xin Zhao.
This is just the tip of the iceberg with what League of Legends added or changed, as there’s always more to come.
