Sometimes, video games just want to be played, and those who make the games want players to play them, no matter what state they’re in. That’s why recent trends like Steam Early Access and open betas are so popular amongst game developers. This gives them the chance to show off their titles, while also learning things about the game from those who play it, it’s a true win-win scenario. For the team behind the upcoming shooter LawBreakers, they’re giving players a special chance to play the game really early.

Originally, the Early Access for LawBreakers was supposed to open on August 8th. But, Cliff Blezinski and crew wanted to give players a thank you gift for making their past closed beta so successful. So, from now until July 5th, there’s an open beta available on Steam for you to play. You’ll have full access to what the game has to offer you in the state it’s in, and the team wants you to try out it all and let them know what you think.

Oh, and there won’t be any restrictions on showing it off either! In fact, the LawBreakers team encourages you to stream it to Youtube, Twitch, or whatever other platforms you like to use.

As for what LawBreakers is, it’s an intense shooter that makes use of literally every angle there is. This shooter has you taking the role of a “verti-killer”, beings who have not only special skills, but weapons as well. You’re either with the Law, or you’re with the Breakers, and you must use your weapons and skills to take out your opponents. But in a fun twist, gravity is no longer an obstacle. You’ll be able to soar into the sky, work around obstacles in fun and unique ways, all to get that perfect shot.

There’s a lot of potential in this game. Hop onto Steam and go try it out.
