LawBreakers is one of the newly released shooters that try to bring back that brutal, old-school feeling of games like Quake and Unreal Tournament. In LawBreakers, you have lots of exciting options for combat, and one of the fun gimmicks in the game is the way they introduce gravity-defying zones which make for some skirmishes to be unpredictable and quite entertaining. Their first patch, called Patch 1.1 is getting released today, and the official times are as follows: 7 am Pacific / 10 am Eastern / 4 pm CEST, and the patch is going live on both Steam and all PS4 platforms.
The patch contains some quality of life changes, some balance tweaks to some roles, and of course, bug fixes.
Players will now be able to open Stash Boxes while they’re waiting in matchmaking lobby and queue, so you can now efficiently multitask while you’re waiting for a match. As far as the role changes are concerned, the Gunslinger, Harrier, and Wraith received some modifications.
The Gunslinger is one of the most dominant roles in the game currently, and the developers decided to decrease some of his power by reducing the Headshot damage multiplier on TAC Knife (from 1.5 to 1.25) and by reducing the fully charged Omega max damage (from 160 to 150). But, his Horizontal warp impulse increased from 300 to 500 to increase his ability to build up speed, and now you can replenish your Warp ability charge by landing a fully charged Omega headshot.
The Harrier and Wraith only received minor changes, and alongside other small tweaks to gameplay, the other thing that came with this patch, but only for PC users (and it is a Beta feature) is the addition of Korean as a language option. You can read more about the patch notes on their official website.
