There has been some pleasing news for fans of the Friday the 13th game, as the developers have decided to drop the latest patch into the game early. This update is much larger than any that have been added previously, and will take a while for everything to be implemented.
What players can expect is a new playable Jason, known as Jason 4. This particular reincarnation of the infamous hockey-mask wearing killer wields a pig splitter, and will require level 44 to play as. There is also a new playable counselor, Mitch Floyd, who will require players to be level 24.
A statement from the devs reads:
“We know we likely didn’t fix everything that you feel is wrong with the game and we likely have new issues with the new content. I assure you we are doing our best to address the major issues as quick as possible as well as adding in new things for people to enjoy. The last few months have been hectic.”
There has been a number of key fixes that have been addressed, of which you can read in full here. There are certain issues that have been taken care of already, or will be done so in the next patch, such as spectators being unable to see rain. There has also been problems with stuck spots in Jarvis House, as well as the boat repair location not working on the left side of the boat. There had also been an issue regarding the police voice queue when calling the police, which too has been addressed.
There are more issues to be fixed soon, as Friday the 13th looks to right any wrongs that have been staggered throughout since launch.
