June is a great month to be a gamer this year, with some really big titles hitting PC and consoles alike over the next few weeks. From JRPGs to platformers to whatever you would call Mirror’s Edge, there is plenty to keep gamers occupied. Here are a few highlights coming your way in June.
Starting June 7th, the aforementioned parkour simulator sequel Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst will launch on PC as well as PS4 and Xbox One. This long-awaited sequel was set to launch in February, but saw delay shortly before its release. Finally, it’s slated for release in a very short while.
On June 10th, Kirby: Planet Robobot will launch, which is a new installment in Nintendo’s critically acclaimed series. Along with this game a new series of amiibo will launch, including the never before done Waddle-Dee amiibo.
On June 21st, the long-awaited Mighty No. 9 will launch on PC and all consoles. This brainchild of Keiji Inafune is a spiritual successor to the much-loved MegaMan series. The game starts the warrior Beck as he dashes through treacherous environments to defeat his enemies.
June 24th, a unique title will launch. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE will incorporate elements both from the classic Fire Emblem franchise as well as the popular Atlas RPG series Shin Megami Tensei to create a very stylized, pop culture oriented RPG.
All of these games and much more are going to ensure that June is a great month for gamers everywhere. Whether you play on PC or console, there will be plenty to keep you occupied this month.
