Surely not? One of the most captivating pieces of television this year came from HBO’s critically acclaimed fantasy series Game of Thrones when former leader of the Night’s Watch Jon Snow came back from the dead, to the delight of many fans. A popular character of the show for his heroic actions and not really knowing much, Jon Snow actor Kit Harrington has taken on a very different role for the next instalment in the FPS series Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Taking on the role of Admiral Salen Kotch, the leader of the Settlement Defense Front, Harrington will indeed be the villain of the game, as Activision have now released footage of the character in their latest trailer. It also shows a cameo appearance of UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor punching you in the face. Nice of him!
This wouldn’t be the first time that a Hollywood star has appeared in the lucrative shooter franchise, with Kevin Spacey starring in 2014’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Be sure to check out the trailer below to see Harrington in his new role.
