Injustice 2 Reveals Second Fighter Pack

Injustice 2 was already doing a good job of expanding the roster in regards to the first game. They brought in characters like Blue Beetle, Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Bane, and Gorilla Grodd. But then, via the DLC, we’ve been getting even more characters, and ones that are either fan favorites, or legendary characters in their own rights. Today, we got the second batch of characters, called Fighter Pack 2, revealed, and these three will be great additions to the fight.

First up is Raiden from Mortal Kombat. The god of thunder and protector of Earth, Raiden is a powerful opponent, and also a great strategist. It’s because of his skills that things worked out so well in the Mortal Kombat more than anything else, including reversing time to prevent his brother Shao Khan from taking over everything. Ironically, Raiden was teased within Injustice 2 itself during a clash conversation between Joker and Black Adam.

Next up is Black Manta, a fan-favorite villain. Black Manta is the sworn enemy of Aquaman, and while that may not seem impressive given that Manta is a regular human, he makes up for it in spades. He is one of the most driven villains in DC Comics, willing to go to any length to get what he wants. Oh, and he chopped off Aquaman’s arm twice.

Finally, the biggest surprise in this batch, Hellboy! That’s right, the demon who fights other demons and monsters is in Injustice. Hellboy is a fan-favorite character from Dark Horse Comics, and his books have been popular for a very long time. Those who don’t read the comics will remember his duo of films staring Ron Perlman as Hellboy himself.

These three will no doubt change the game when they arrive, and for those with the Ultimate Edition, you’ll automatically get these characters when they arrive in Injustice 2.
