Horizon Zero Dawn announced via the PlayStation Blog the newest patch, patch 1.30. They’ve also detailed all the important changes that are coming to Horizon Zero Dawn through the patch.
Earlier last month at E3, the team behind Horizon Zero decided to announce that they’re working on a new expansion titled The Frozen Wilds and it’s filled with characters for Aloy to meet, quests to grind, and places to visit. This was kind of a tease for the impatient players that can’t wait for The Frozen Wilds to be released.
As of today, the 1.30 patch is available and will bring you a fix to the character progression issues that the community found. That is a small change when you compare it to the new feature called New Game+ that is also coming with this patch.
With the highly anticipated New Game+, players will have the ability to repeat your old adventures as Aloy without risk of losing your items and character progression.
Besides that, the patch brings new updated versions of weapons and outfits that come with a modification slot. The price will be a bit heftier but it’s worth the investment. Along with it comes the new addition to the difficulty modes. They call it Ultra Hard mode and the players that decide to go on a New Game+ adventure with this difficulty won’t be able to switch to an easier difficulty. The players that go with any other difficulty besides this one will be able to switch the difficulty as they want. If you want to find out more, visit the announcement over at the PlayStation Blog.
