For Honor just posted an announcement on Steam in which they show everything that was going on throughout the first week of May. This included the fast-approaching Season 2, and previews of new content.

First off, they wanted to announce the upcoming release of Season 2: Shadow & Might, which is scheduled to arrive on May 16th. A day before that, a huge launch stream will be aired on  twitch.tv/forhonorgame, so be sure to watch that if you can. The stream will be broadcast from the ESL Studios located in Los Angeles. You can expect plenty of gameplay from various players and streamers, as well as a first look at The Centurion and The Shinobi, the new Shadow & Might heroes.

Plenty of info about the Season 2 update that’s coming soon was revealed in the Warrior’s Den weekly stream that was broadcast recently. In case you missed the stream, they uploaded the live stream on the Ubisoft Youtube channel. Along with this, previews of The Shinobi and The Centurion have also been uploaded on the same channel.

New Mythic outfits are another thing that marks this week. Each of these costs 15,000 Steel and every hero gets one. These can be unlocked in the Hero customization area.

Two new maps, The Temple, and The Forge, have been announced for Season 2: Shadow & Might. The ongoing war will easily be won by the side that controls the Forge as it is one of the few sources of steel, an extremely important resource in the For Honor universe. The Temple Garden is one of the more scenic battlegrounds introduced to the game, but that won’t last long as many people will end up losing their life there. For more info about the news and events that have happened during the week, visit the announcement by heading over to Steam.
