The Hitman series has had a long and interesting road. Since its inception, the series has had subsequent big releases with games like Blood Money, Absolution, Hitman GO, and more. Yet, the team at Square Enix decided to take a different approach when they brought the game back once again. For they decided to make a more massive game, by breaking it up into episodes.
While this approach may seem odd, as other games, and game developers, have done this before with only some success, TellTale being the biggest one, the Hitman game was something else entirely. For each level was massive, one that would feel right at home in a “full-fledged” game. Furthermore, the options that were given to you by this open space allowed for gamers to try test their hitman skills. Now, the full first season of this new Hitman model is set to arrive in physical copy in just two weeks.
If you recall, the first season featured the Prologue, France, Italy, Morocco, Thailand, USA and Japan missions. Not only that though, but this completed physical copy will feature all of the Escalation Contracts, Challenges, Opportunities and Contracts that were created by the team and the community. Also, any Elusive Targets that happen after January 31 will be able to be partaken by those who play this physical version.
For those who want a bit more, you can get the Steelbook Edition. Which will include 3 exclusive bonus missions, an exclusive soundtrack, a documentary about the game being made, and the Hitman Blood Money pack which features the classic look of Agent 47.
So, if you’re looking to get back in the game, and haven’t done the digital version of Hitman Season One, you can get a copy for yourself when it releases for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
