Hearthstone 5.2.0 Patch Goes Live

A new patch for Hearthstone: Heroes Of Warcraft is live. This patch offers a lot of very interesting updates. Probably the most interesting feature is the “Recruit A Friend” addition. This allows you to give your friends a URL, which they can use to register for accounts. Every time a friend uses your URL to register, you get a free card pack.

If a friend gets recruited through your URL and reaches level 20, you get a free hero for the Shaman Class. Morgl the Oracle is now available to replace Thrall. I’ll likely get him but not use him, as I really like Thrall. But still, it’s nice to finally have a Murloc hero.

This is also a good opportunity to get people playing Hearthstone. All of your Overwatch playing friends already have BattleNet accounts, so the work for them is minimal.

There have also been some minor changes to UI, some cards, and some portraits. For instance, the buffing animation for Golden C’Thun cards will now also be gold. Silithid Swarmer is also now a beast, so I don’t know how that changes your meta game, but there you go.

Update now and start recruiting your friends. The game will only continue to grow after all.
