People were absolutely blown away by a card game in the Witcher 3 called Gwent. A whole lot of people asked for it to be released as a separate game as it was that good, so CD Projekt Red decided to make it a reality.
Well, the closed beta for the game has been delayed. It was expected to begin in September, but according to CD Projekt Red, it’s not coming until the end of October. They stated that the game needs more time before it can be shown to the public, so they are probably still bugs in the game that need to be removed first, or perhaps they’re just polishing the game up. CD Projekt Red stated that they know how disappointing a delay can be, but they value launching a game when they feel that’s it ready more than keeping a deadline. They even apologized for making fans wait a bit longer, but hey, it’s better to wait for a ready product than to get an incomplete one. The closed beta is scheduled to begin on October 25, so you won’t have to wait much more.
Gwent’s closed beta is coming to Xbox One and PC, and if you’re a PlayStation 4 user, don’t worry, the full game is coming to that platform as well.
