Guardians of Ember became available on Steam Early Access at the end of 2016. Since then, the developers have been working on the game as much as possible in order to prepare the game for the full version launch. Now that Act V is released, the game received a whole bunch of new additions and updates, meaning that we’re getting really close to that full version launch.
The biggest additions to the game that are coming along with Act V are the nine new regions that you can explore, as well as the sixteen dungeons that will be available from now on. This change expanded the game, which means the players that have already mastered the game and explored its world can enjoy these new areas and dungeons instead of walking around the same paths again and again. Along with this comes 59 new quests for players to complete. Of course, there will be plenty of new items and rewards for the players after the completion of these quests.
The level cap is another focus of this update. The level cap has been increased to level 58, which allows the players that are max level to progress further in the game. Besides this change, Loot Orbs have been affected by this update. Wings have been added to the loot, so don’t be surprised if you randomly get a pair of wings upon receiving loot. Add to all of that a discount for the Immortal Upgrade pack that can be found in-game. Another update is planned to be released on Thursday, but this time the update will mostly focus on bug fixes and updating the localization.
If you’ve yet to buy Guardians of Ember, consider it now as it just went on a 33% discount. If you want to see the update for yourself, visit the announcement here.
