The Hack ‘n’ Slash MMORPG Guardians of Ember is now available on Steam, following a successful IndieGoGo campaign. After a nine month stint in Early Access, publisher Insel Games has done a fantastic job in almost tripling the amount of content in the base game, as well as bringing in a number of fan suggestions including German and Spanish localizations.
With Guardians of Ember leaving Early Access, it offers not only a rewarding playground for players who have stuck by it so far, but also some brand new challenges for them to take on. These include nightmare mode for dungeons, which comes with unique rewards and a new layer of replayability, plus other helpful features such as a group finder, a new guild system for upgrading guilds and unlocking bonuses, and much more.
Guardians of Ember is now available on Steam in English, German and Spanish. There are both Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game, with the latter including additional exclusives such as the Golden Crane mount. A full French translation is also in the works.
Insel Games CEO Patrick Streppel commented: “Our time in Early Access has been longer than expected but we listened closely to community feedback especially on sensitive topics like the in-game shop which now only offers vanity items. While no game is ever done – and we are already working on great new features for the upcoming months – we believe now is the right time to take a trip to Olyndale!”
