Following three successful technical tests for the MMO Hack ‘N’ Slash game, Publisher Insel Games have announced that Guardians of Ember is ready to launch. The game will hit Early Access on December 13th via Steam, including the heavily-requested Hardcore Mode.
Runewaker Entertainment – the developers behind other hit MMO games such as Dragon’s Prophet and Runes of Magic – are ready to bring forth Guardians of Ember. Combining different elements from other genres, Guardians of Ember features Hack ‘N’ Slash gameplay into the MMORPG style of setting with dungeon raiding, housing, crafting and PvP with a Dual Class System.
Boasting nearly unlimited character optimization, Guardians of Ember lets players choose between a total of four races and six classes with 300 active skills, and 72 passive skills. Randomised dungeons will also be available with varying difficulty settings for those who prefer PvE action, with a detailed questline of hundreds of missions and daily missions to take part in. For those more inclined to partake in PvP, there are various fight options including 1v1, 3v3 and 5v5 ranked and unranked matches.
If you’re looking to show off your creative design skills, then the game has you covered here also. As well as a deep crafting and enchanting system for you to design your own equipment to perfection, there is also a housing system in place. This will allow players to decorate their own homes as they like, and even hire house sprite as bonuses.
The support of the community has made Guardians of Ember possible, reaching the second IndieGoGo stretch goal which brings a one-off Hardcore Mode, which will feature at the upcoming launch event.
