Those who are anxiously anticipating the launch of Gravity Rush 2 get a little taste of what’s to come in the form of a demo launching on the PlayStation Store tomorrow. The associate project manager at SCEA took to the PlayStation Blog to announce the demo, in conjunction with a few other things.
The anime aesthetic that the game offers is more than just a glossy finish. There’s a companion anime that is being launched for fans in conjunction with the game. The anime will be available to view on December 26th on YouTube.
The demo for Gravity Rush 2 will offer two different paths. One for new players, and another for veterans who are already familiar with the interesting powers and controls that this game has to offer.
For those unaware, Gravity Rush 2 is a title that takes an anime aesthetic, and brings it into a world with a jarring theme of free-falling, in a way that requires precision, technique, and a constant awareness of your surroundings in order to get the optimal results.
Despite the fact that the demo is launching tomorrow and the anime is launching in but five days, the game itself is slated for launch sometime in 2017, and along with that all remaining news on the title is set to be revealed starting next year.
If you’re a PlayStation owner who is interested in giving Gravity Rush 2 a try, you now have a golden opportunity to do exactly that. Download this demo from the PlayStation Store starting tomorrow.
