Gigantic is a free-to-play MOBA from Motiga with a colourful art style and 18 different heroes to play as. It has has just been announced that Gigantic will be available in Open Beta on the Arc game launcher.

According to the post on Arc’s official website,  the Open Beta launch comes with “several new changes and a hefty handful of updates.” Bot matches have now been added to the game to let players practice heroes they might want to get better at, and voice chat has also been implemented. The post also states that there have been upgrades to every battlefield available in the game and some of the UI and heroes will also look different.

Once fully released on the 20th of July, Gigantic will also be available to download on Steam but anyone who downloads the game through Arc will also get an exclusive skin for the hero, Tripp. It is called the Arc Lightning skin and features some ‘shocking’ voice lines too.

Gigantic boasts itself as a “strategic hero shooter” that pits teams of 5 against one another in battle arenas. The addition of giant “guardians” on either team gives the game a bit of a unique edge to the otherwise saturated genre. It is clear to see that the graphics are simple and fun with bright colors and diverse character models being the main focus.

Gigantic is launching into Open Beta on Windows 7, 8, and 10, and Xbox One and will be available through the Arc launcher. If you are interested in playing gigantic’s Open Beta, be sure to check out Arc’s official website for more information and to acquire the exclusive Tripp skin.

    I feel like I’m going to wait on more info before trying this one out. Not super into MOBA games unless I have a fair amount of friends that are getting into it as well, and we have been getting a LOT of MOBA games lately. Not sure I will have the time to add one more.
