Gameplay Details Revealed for Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker

Bandai Namco has revealed further details regarding the gameplay for the unorthodox ninja battle action game Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, set to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The game sees Expert Ninjas pitted against one another in 4 vs 4 online battles across large 3D stages where they will choose from four types on Ninjitsu. These include attacking fighters such as Naruto Uzumaki, Kakashi Hatake and Pain, who boast powerful and quick attacks. Then there’s ranged fighters such as Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha and Konan who are renowned for their distance attacks. Or, you could reinforce defense with the likes of Kisame Hoshigaki, or opt to heal with Sakura Haruno.

Today, two main battle modes have been detailed, with Barrier mode and Flag mode, both being playable in 4 vs 4. These teams are split into offense and defense when it comes to Barrier mode, in which players will have to defeat the boss. Meanwhile, Flag mode sees teams of 4 shinobi where they must capture each other’s flag and return it to their base. There are also sub mission modes, including escort, extermination and subjugation which will allow players to team up with friends to complete missions.
