Square Enix released an update today to one of their Final Fantasy mobile games, FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS. The update includes an arena-based PvP Mode, as well as a limited-time BRAVE FRONTIER crossover special event.

Arena-style PvP Makes Its Debut

The update adds a brand new player vs. player arena mode, where players pit their teams against those of others. Players that choose to participate in arena matches will be ranked weekly and monthly, and will then be duly rewarded with Arena Summons Tickets and character stat-boosts.

Special Crossover Event: FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS and BRAVE FRONTIER

In a special crossover event, Square Enix is also introducing characters from gumi Inc.’s BRAVE FRONTIER, transformed into pixel art. Crossover characters include Tilith, Karl, Seria, and Elza, who is exclusive to the worldwide release. These characters will be available as Feature Summons from November 11 through November 24.

Furthermore, the special collaboration event opens new stages in both games. When players clear the special stages in one game, they earn rewards in the other. All players can achieve even greater rewards if these stages in both games are cleared “enough times.”

8 Million Download Milestone

In addition to the crossover special event, Square Enix is also celebrating over 8 million downloads outside of Japan for FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS. Throughout the month of November, players will be rewarded with special login bonuses.

FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS is a free-to-play mobile game with in-game purchases, published by Square Enix and developed by gumi Inc. It is available on both Apple and Android devices.
