In collaboration with FINAL FANTASY XIV, Scrap will host this summer a Real Escape Game tour based on the Japanese MMORPG.
Since its re-release as A Realm Reborn, FINAL FANTASY XIV has managed to remain relevant in the MMO market and deliver one of the most immersive experiences with tons of in-game content and real life memorabilia. Now, it’s time for the Warriors of Light to venture forth into the real world with Trials of Bahamut, a Real Escape Game hosted by Scrap.
Escape games are popular puzzles where players are locked in a room and must find the way out within a time limit. They have everything within the room at their disposal as well as one another. Scrap has hosted a multitude of themed escape games including Defenders of the Triforce (based on the iconic The Legend of Zelda series), Castle Under Siege (based on the multimedia franchise Attack on Titan), and Real Zero Escape: Trust on Trial (based on the puzzle video game series Zero Escape).
Now, it’s time for escapees to experience the realm of Eorzea in real life. Trials of Bahamut will put parties of six Warriors of Light to explore a large area in order to prevent the reawakening of the primal Bahamut, responsible for the destruction of Eorzea as it was known during the poorly received first version of FINAL FANTASY XIV. With 60 minutes left to solve the puzzles and unlock the full story, players will be able to interact with characters in order to progress as well as witness breathtaking computer-generated cinematics, one thing the FINAL FANTASY franchise is widely known for.
Trials of Bahamut is thus far confirmed to visit selected cities in the United States, including Los Angeles, Seattle, Houston, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York.
