The climax of the mythic raid race has been reached, and Gul’dan has fallen in The Nighthold, and when the smoke has cleared, its the Russian guild Exorsus that stands tall to claim the top spot. On top of this, Exorsus also achieved the world’s first Mythic Xavius Kill in Emerald Nightmare.
According to an Armory Feed, the loot discovered included Warchief’s Shattered Tusk, Lionshead Lapel Clasp and two Conquerer Tier 19 legs. Players in the raid also received both the Cutting Edge: Gul’dan and the Mythic: Gul’dan achievements, plus the Vengeance Incarnate title for their troubles.
The World of Warcraft community were quick to congratulate Exorsus in the forums, including user Ruin who stated: “They definitely deserve some domination in the race for a few years, I mean, why not, been the same for a while now, Method this, Method that, it gets boring.” Speaking of the guild known as Method, we recently reported on the group playing catch up in the Nighthold raid, who fought to take third in what seemed to be a very unpredictable chase for top spot at one point.
There are several posts from community members expressing their joy not only for Exorsus emerging victorious, but also for the fact that the guilds Method or Serenity failed to come out on top. This is for a number of differing reasons, of which you can check out here should you like to hear further reaction.
Congratulations to Exorsus, and a raucous round of applause to all those who competed in the Nighthold raid.
