Exclusive Rocket League Content Coming to Nintendo Switch

Psyonix, the developer and publisher of the soccer-car indie mash up Rocket League, has revealed new Battle-Cars that will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version of the game. Have a look at what you can expect to see on the Switch version of the game:

Rocket League is set to boost its way onto the Nintendo Switch in Holiday 2017, with the first Battle-Cars being made available as special unlockables. These will be based around the iconic brothers Mario and Luigi, with the Mario NSR and Luigi NSR. Which one you play as is determined by which color team you are on, with Mario representing the Orange team and Luigi for the Blue team.

Beloved protagonist of the classic Metroid series will also be featured as the second exclusive, with Samus’ Gunship being announced for the game. This will also have variations depending on the color team you are playing as, which will be based around different Varia Suits worn by Samus in the series.

The cars will have “Super Star” boosts for Mario and Luigi, whilst Samus’ Gunship will have the “Wave Beam” specialized boost. These will be available when Rocket League launches on Nintendo Switch later this year, including other Nintendo Switch exclusive additions with Mario and Luigi Toppers.
