EVE Online has officially released its newest update with patch 119.3. With it comes not only new improvements to the game such as an improved scanning system, new ships, and new ship designs but also, a myriad of fixes across both the PC and Mac versions of the game. CCP Games released the Patch Notes for update 119.3. Here is some of what the update brings.
In terms of balancing, all fighters have had their radius increased by 25%, while Burst Projectors have been given a buff to their duration. Furthermore, the Focused Warp Disruption Script no longer scrambles enemies’ MWDs and MJDs.
Moving on to ships and drones, the tooltips for fighters has been expanded upon, meaning that players will have more tips and information presented to them regarding their craft. Plus, shortcuts have been added to the actions of the ships, thus allowing you to do things with them even faster.
Also for drones, their effectiveness range has been increased to 500km, meaning you can interact with them from larger distances, thus making them much more useful.
Moving to art and design, several ships within EVE Online have received a graphical overhaul, including the Caldari Destroyer Cormorant and Interdictor Flycatcher, which have been redesigned from the ground up. Then, there are the ORE ships, which have been outfitted with more colors and textures to “accentuate their industrial natures.” In-game visual adjustments include the toning down of the intensity of certain items that may be on screen, including stars you might see, solar system lines, probe spheres, and cosmic signature spheres.
Plus, there’s new animations, new icons, new VFX and a new color slate for certain actions involving scans and probes.
The full Patch Notes are up, so make sure you do that before hopping back into EVE Online, as you might be surprised with what has changed.
