The Elder Scrolls Online will be releasing its Morrowind DLC, which we have covered extensively, on June 6th. The team behind the Elder Scrolls MMORPG has been doing everything in its power to ensure that players remain excited for this massive addition to the game world with a closed beta, some lore-friendly essays, and even a travel series. Today, players got to see the beginning of another sort of travel series but this time, the Morag Tong assassin Naryu Virian is our guide.

For those not well-versed in Elder Scrolls lore, let me bring you up to speed. The Morag Tong is an ancient band of assassins based in Morrowind. They, like the Dark Brotherhood found in other provinces of Tamriel, carry out murders for those with the coin to command it. The only difference is that the Morag Tong is somewhat legal, whereas the Dark Brotherhood is certainly not. Naryu Virian in particular is a character you may have met before in the Elder Scrolls Online. Her main concern is the organization, yet she has a softer side.

Vivec City itself is a staple in Morrowind, known to be where the living God Vivec resides under the shadow of what Naryu calls a “big ugly rock”. That big ugly rock, which is actually a moonlet from Oblivion, will eventually become a maximum-security prison in the Elder Scrolls timeline. How cool is that!?

The trailer itself is only 50 seconds long but it showcases some of the grimier parts of the city we haven’t really seen before, including some underground passages and the Outlaw’s Refuge. A post on the official Elder Scrolls Online website tells us that there will be a new video every week from Naryu, so keep a look out for more updates coming soon.

If you want to read more Morrowing content, make sure to check out “An In-Depth Look at TESO: Morrowind and Why it’s Exciting,” in which we talk about everything we know about the DLC and why players should be pumped for its release on June 6th.
