Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind

With the impending release of their massive Morrowind DLC in June, The Elder Scrolls Online has been releasing content left, right, and center to keep players interested. Recently, alongside the MMORPG’s travel series, they have been putting out lore-friendly videos based around the Morag Tong Assassin Naryu Virian. Today, they released another addition to this series.

This time around, Naryu talks players through the three Great Houses of Morrowind. For those that might not know, the Great Houses were quite a focal point in the original game The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. They are essentially political parties founded on ancient Dunmer tribe traditions. As Nary explains in the video, House Hlaalu are the builders and gold-grubbers, House Telvanni are the slave-keeping wizards, and house Redoran is currently in power. There are actually two other houses – Indoril and Dres. Neither of these, however, have very much interest in the island of Vvardenfell where the Morrowind DLC takes place.

For our guide herself, Naryu Virian, things get a little more interesting. She is a Morag Tong assassin, the almost-legal cousin of the Dark Brotherhood. She does appear in-game during your time in The Elder Scrolls Online. This trailer and Morrowind itself are rich in lore and backstory. These videos are helpful for those players who might still be in the introductory stages of The Elder Scrolls story.

What do you think about these videos? Are they helpful or interesting in any way? Or do you just want to get into the game and play it already? Are you the kind of person who skips dialogue or lets it all play out? Let us know! And remember, The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind DLC comes out on June 6th. You can pre-order a copy right now for some bonuses or wait until it fully releases.
