The Elder Scrolls Online is an MMORPG that was released in 2014 and set in the well-known single-player Elder Scrolls universe. Recently, an expansion was released for the game that brought players back to the familiar island of Vvardenfell in the Elder Scrolls Online: Mororwind. Following the release of the expansion, the newest patch for the game deals widely with the new PvP mode, Battlegrounds, and some other Morrowind-related additions. We’ll be breaking down the most important details right here, but be sure to check out the Elder Scrolls Online forums for the full gamut of fixes and changes.
The patch notes are broken down into two main categories: Morrowind and Base Game. Under the Morrowind main category, there are three sub-categories: Alliance War and PvP, Combat and Gameplay, and Dungeons and Group Combat. The main bit of information to take away from the Morrowind category is that many of the changes made to to the Halls of Fabrication Trial in the previous patch have been reverted.
Specifically, the Pinnicale Factorium’s health bar has been changed back to its original state from patch 3.0.8 and its Shockwave attack can once again be blocked so players won’t be standing there stunned without any way of stopping it. This also goes for the Hunter-Killer Fabricants.
As far as the base game changes go, the biggest bit of news comes from the Combat and Gameplay section. In this new patch, permanent summons, like the Unstable Familiar and Feral Guardian, will now regain health once they’re out of combat. The patch notes make it sound as though this regeneration will be instant so this will prove to be helpful in many areas of gameplay in both PvE and PvP.
