For the gaming universe, there are certain dates and events that are held above all others. These days are very special to gamers as they allow them to come together to celebrate all that is games, dress up as their favorite characters, and of course, find out news about potential new titles. And sometimes even consoles and handhelds. Easily the biggest gaming event of the year is the Electronic Entertainment Expo, aka, E3. E3 2018 is June 12th-14th for the public, and the tickets are about to go on sale.
This comes from the official E3 Twitter feed, who reveals that the tickets for the expo will go live on February 12th. So only 6 days away! Now, there are a few catches here, so you’ll want to pay attention.

First off, as noted above, the public will be allowed back on the floor of E3 2018. And E3 has made it clear that getting tickets is “first come first serve”. So, here’s the deal, the first 1000 “Gamer Passes”, or the tickets given to the public, will be $149. But, after those 1000 are sold, the next 1000 will be $249, so definitely try and get in that first batch. Once the second batch are sold out, it’s done.
There’s already a lot of anticipation for E3 2018, and much like the main three publishers, the reasons are all unique. Microsoft revealed the Xbox One X last year, and launched it a few months later, but their games library has been severely lacking. For Sony, 2018 is shaping up to be a big year for them games-wise. But, they need to bring a lot of release dates to the table. Finally, Nintendo killed it last year with the Switch, and after a soft start to the year, many are looking to E3 for Nintendo to drop some major bombshells.
