Are you good at drawing eerie pictures? Do you also like scary, atmospheric games? Then we have a contest that might interest you. Iceberg Interactive and Rely on Horror, a horror gaming magazine, have formed an alliance to celebrate Halloween, and what better way to celebrate it than to make a contest where the contestants have to draw a creepy painting in order to win special prizes? Two best drawings will get a special Inmates prize package that comes with an exclusive replica of Anton’s diary and a copy of the game.
The picture that you draw has to be done in a children’s style, which definitely increases the creepy element of a drawing all by itself, and we even got some pictures already to show just how unsettling a children’s picture can really be.
Of course, drawing a silly children picture isn’t exactly hard, but you have to capture a certain disturbing look that isn’t really easy to achieve. If you’re interested in this contest, keep in mind that you have until October 17th, 2017, to submit your entry. There are multiple ways to enter the contest, either through Twitter and Instagram (you also have to use hashtag #AntonsDiary) or by sending an email to the community manager, Saskia (firstname.lastname@example.org). The winner of this contest will get announced on October 18th, and they will get picked by a jury panel with members from Rely on Horror.
One of the rewards that you get is the game Inmates, in which you have to solve difficult puzzles and explore a deserted and horrifying prison.
