What do we know about Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2? We know that it’s a sequel game obviously. The first title in the franchise allowed you to take control of a custom character while you sought to repair a fractured timeline.
This game had a unique fighting system, very heavy customization, options, immersion, and put a huge emphasis on online multiplayer. Players got to experience a bizarre combination of the original Dragon Ball Z story, with an element of surprise that took the shape of Towa and Mira. These two new villains added a special extra layer of depth to this already deep game.
In the reveal trailer, the classic scene of Future Trunks standing over his dead master is shown. First of all, the cutscenes look beautiful compared to that of the first game. Second, it appears this game is going to cover the movies. This scene is exclusive to the film special “History Of Trunks” and hopefully that’s not the only one. There was a saga in the first game dedicated to Broly. Broly is certainly a character of mass appeal, but he was not done justice in the first title.
The game looks much more visually stable, so that’s always a plus. All in all it appears to be an interesting title. It will launch in October.
Fans can play Dragon Ball Xenoverse now on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. For more news on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as it becomes available, stay tuned.
