Then Nintendo Switch has landed another big 3rd-party title, albeit one that has already released. Bandai Namco has revealed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is coming to the Nintendo Switch this fall. No specific date was given, but it’s possible we’ll learn about it very soon. This was confirmed with a Twitter post on the official Bandai Namco feed.

Aside from the release window, Bandai Namco revealed some interesting details that’ll set the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse two apart from its other makes. For example, the game will be able to support local multiplayer via two different Switch’s, also, two people will be able to play on one Switch via each Joy-Con. And naturally, you can play the game in Docked Mode on your TV or have it on the tablet and take it anywhere you want.

If you’ve never heard of the game before, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a compilation of the history of the Dragon Ball series, and in the game, you’ll play as a custom character (of which the character creation system has been improved greatly) and travel back in time to witness and protect some of the greatest moments in the history of the series.

Also naturally, the game will feature the over-the-top action that Dragon Ball is known for, and you’ll be able to play as some of the greatest characters, and different forms of those characters, in various modes. Including being Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, and more.

The only real question about the Switch version is whether the DLC that has already come out for the game will be included naturally upon launch. We don’t yet, but it’s very likely that we’ll hear about this as we get closer to its fall release.
