The latest Kickstarter campaign from Larian Studios has released a new video, one which reveals a whole host of brand new features which have been requested by those who want to see Divinity: Original Sin 2.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 presents the highly anticipated sequel to one of the most beloved RPGs ever made, and is penned for release on September 14th. What has now been confirmed is that there will be controller support and split-screen mode on PC, making co-op mode on one screen possible. Check out the latest Kickstarter video update below.

Other features announced include Skill Crafting, which essentially allows you to create abilities by combining elemental and non-elemental books. So combining Fire and Necromancy creates Corpse Explosion skill, whilst Necromancy and a Water skill book makes Blood Rain. There’s also Source Skills, which allows you to talk to dead characters using Spirit Vision, or alternatively using Source Vampirism to absorb their powers. Even animals will be able to contact you, as long as you have the Pet Pal talent. Rune Crafting helps you find or craft runes to help aid your equipment and weaponry, through the combination of items such as wood and oil, which once enchanted with Pixie Dust it creates the fire rune.

For more information on Divinity: Original Sin, then be sure to head over to the Steam Early Access page where you can find more details on the game, as well as the option to download it if this sequel to the popular RPG grabs your fancy.
