Seasonal content is a good way to keep things fresh in a video game after it launches. While some don’t like it, when done right (aka not charging players for it) it can add a lot to games. What’s more, some games take seasons (and seasonal breaks) to ensure that the game is not only better, but the content given is better. This is the case for Diablo III, which has had 11 successful seasons of special content on their title. Now, they’re preparing for Season 12, and fans are eagerly waiting for it.

That doesn’t mean that they don’t have ideas of their own about what to put into Season 12. So, these players took to Battle.net to discuss what they’d like to see when the Season 12 content arrives on the Diablo III PTR.

Some just want balances and buffs and nerfs for certain items in the game. Because without balance, some of the season content just isn’t worth doing.

Others though have a very specific thing they want changed: Barbs. This class has apparently been broken for a while now, and fans have apparently been asking for changes to this class for 18+ months, and Blizzard hasn’t done anything about it. So, they want it fixed.

One player noted how he’d like to be able to choose what rift maps are available instead of being told where he can go to. Oh, and he wants the time and the percentages displayed above the rift bar.

And other players just want a lot of new content, from new maps, new bosses, items, armors, weapons, and more. They want this season to feel truly new.

The sad part though, is that players of various loyalties revealed that they dare not list things that they want, because they feel Blizzard won’t listen. What’s more, they’re “waiting” for Diablo IV, for that seems like a better option to them.
