Diablo 3 players in the Americas are now able to download the latest 2.4.2 patch on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Fans from Europe and Asia however will have to wait until the patch is available in their respective regions, meaning those in Americas attempting to use Global Play with Europe and Asia will have to wait for the release of the patch in those areas.
The 2.4.2 patch brings several fixes for issues experienced by fans of the action role-playing game, focusing on performance improvements and new additional content. For example, addressing server issues being caused by stagnant methods of redirecting enemies from single points in the map. Gold rewards have also been altered, lowering costs to restore value across particular activities.
Not only will this patch address a list of bug fixes, several items have also been reviewed as well as changes to each character class, adjusting skills to give players more control. The aim of this update focuses partly on rewarding fans, with alterations also made to the user interface and improvements made to both campaign and adventure mode. The third instalment in the Diablo series released back in 2012, with the following Reaper of Souls expansion being added to the Ultimate Evil edition that later released on Xbox One and PS4.
