You don’t get to see dev nights often in games, as they are usually busy, you know, with developing the game. But, it is quite an awesome thing to be able to play a game with the people that made it. LawBreakers will be getting its very own dev night on November 1st, so make sure you have some spare time then, that is, if you want to test your skills against Boss Key Productions.
LawBreakers is a gravity-defying first-person shooter that has some pretty impressive graphics, brutal action, and interesting mechanics. There was a lot of hype surrounding the game before it launched, and then when it finally did, the reviews were rather positive, as you can tell from its Steam page, but then you notice that the newest reviews point out the game’s most dominant flaw, and that is the absolute lack of players.
It’s rather sad to see a game that really tries to be innovative die off so early, but maybe the development night helps with that. Wouldn’t you want to play against the developers in their own game and try to beat them? It would be quite an achievement to beat the creator at his own creation, and of course, you can also ask them all kinds of questions during the match.
The dev night will last from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET, and expect to find people from Gameplay Programming, Technical Design, Audio Design, and more departments in the Quick Match playlist, but they will be using the US-East and US-West queues, so also keep that in mind.
