One of the coolest things about video games is the fact that in potential, fans have the ability to make the game even greater. Now yes, that doesn’t mean expanding upon the literal game itself (though some developers do allow that), rather, they make things on the side to help make the game experience more complete, or easy, or enjoyable. Take for example Destiny, many players of the franchise have built apps or sites to add to the game experience. One such site that does that is DestinySets.com, and they’ve just gotten an upgrade.
You see DestinySets.com was created to help Guardians within Destiny keep track of all the sets of items and armor as well as keep track of their inventory in many ways. The game didn’t do a good enough job with it, so fans made it better. Cool huh? But now, the site has gotten a boost in that now you can track non-armor and item sets.
For now, you can track things like Emblems and Shaders. That means in total that the site can track 848 items within the game itself. If you’re curious how that works, the site works in sync with Bungie.net in order to look into your gamer profile for Destiny, and track your progress. It’s simple, yet very effective.
And gamers/players of Destiny and Destiny 2 are grateful for the site. On Reddit alone, they’re praising its creations and its usefulness. Some are noting that without the site they wouldn’t know just how much there is to collect within the game. Of course, there’s not enough Vault space to put everything into…
Regardless though, the site is free to use, and is meant to be a service to the people. So, if you’re looking to help refine how you collect things, why not try out the site?
