Destiny 2 PC Requirements, Launch Times Announced

In the latest blog by Bungie regarding Destiny 2, a plethora of information regarding the PC version of the game has been revealed.

Starting things off however, there have been some changes to the zones in the console version. An additional map with Iron Banner has been launched to offer more zones for players to take control of, bringing a very familiar map for Destiny veterans, with the introduction of Distant Shore. Set on Nessus, the Crucible map will be put into rotation for all playlists after the weekly reset.

On October 24th, Destiny 2 will go live on PC, bringing the first game in the franchise to this particular platform. The game will be live at the same time for everyone, though depending where you are located, the time will be displayed differently. What’s also important is knowing whether or not your PC will be able to run the game, so below you will find a list of minimum and recommended requirements for Destiny 2.

Minimum:

CPU: Intel – Intel Core i3-3250 3.5 GHz or Intel Pentium G4560 3.5 GHz

CPU: AMD – AMD FX-4350 4.2 GHz

GPU: Nvidia – Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB or GTX 1050 2GB

GPU: AMD – AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB

RAM: 6GB

Recommended:

CPU: Intel – Intel Core i5-2400 3.4 GHz or i5 7400 3.5 GHz

CPU: AMD – AMD Ryzen R5 1600X 3.6 GHz

GPU: Nvidia – Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB or GTX 1060 6GB

GPU: AMD – AMD R9 390 8GB

RAM: 8GB

Finally, you’ll need 68GB available hard drive space, with Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit as your operation system.
