Ever since Bungie announced Destiny 2, we have been reporting on what features (as put forward by fans) could be included in the highly anticipated sequel, which is set for release this September. Reddit in particular has been a hotbed for useful suggestions as to what could be improved on as the franchise moves forward into its second game.
Reddit user DenizenEvil outlined a number of reasons as to why Destiny 2 could include the use of unlimited primary reserve ammo. DenizenEvil rightfully points out that a primary weapon should be able to be relied on at any time, without worrying about running out of ammunition, working in a similar fashion to other shooter titles such as Overwatch and Titanfall.
We’ve heard complaints in the past of PvE content being hindered in a number of ways, and one way in which could affect this is ammo droughts. Its not really something that would affect the PvP side, since dying is more common. Finally, the post references the recent special ammo drought, which leaves you in a sticky situation without it.
It might take away some of the challenge that is on offer, but it would be something for more casual players to benefit from, simply by not having to worry about running out of bullets all the time.
Do you think that the upcoming Destiny 2 should focus on giving players more ammunition for their primary weapon, or does the current system work? Let us know in the comments section below.
