Player ratings in FIFA are often a hot topic of discussion among the game’s fans and the players themselves, for better or worse. In the build up to the release of FIFA 18, we have already seen some rather controversial examples, such as legendary Brazilian striker Ronaldo only receiving a rather low four-star rating. And now, the debate of ratings rallies on as Tottenham Hotspur player Dele Alli questions the rating he has been given.
The England midfielder is considered a rising star in English football, and has in turn voiced his dismay at being rated 84 overall in the upcoming entry from EA. Alli vented:
“To be honest I don’t think I’ll use myself in the game because I don’t think my rating is very good. I’m going to refuse to play with myself until I’m a little bit more realistic!”
Alli isn’t the only Premier League player to voice his frustrations, with Arsenal Winger Alex Iwobi stating:
“I’m not happy with my stats either. They are the same as last year, that means there’s no improvement.”
21-year-old Alli has been voted PFA Young Player of the Year Award for the last two seasons, scoring 30 goals in 75 appearances for Spurs.
