Dead by Daylight game director Mathieu Cote and creative director Dave Richard teased us with some more details regarding the upcoming DLC and the impending Halloween event coming to the game.
During this week’s developer stream, the team revealed that due to restrictions put in place by Microsoft, they were unable to announce a release date for the next DLC, though we know that it is known as “Don’t Fall Asleep” for the time being. Despite there being speculation about a trailer surfacing, it was also confirmed that this wouldn’t be the case, again due to Microsoft restrictions.
Behaviour Interactive therefore are still unable to do a full reveal of who the DLC will be based around, but it is all but confirmed that it will indeed be introducing Freddy Krueger to the roster. Until then, a few of the perks that will be a part of the DLC have been revealed below:
As for the Halloween event, this is expected to kick off next week on Thursday, October 26th, and it will apparently run through until November 1st. This will include an additional bloodpoint component, as well as a new skin for The Nurse, which will remain in the game after the event is over, then all other additional features will disappear.
We could see Freddy in Dead by Daylight as early as next week, if the update Halloween drops on the expected date of October 26th.
