Dark and Light is a fantasy MMORPG that we here at MMOexaminer have been watching quite closely. Today, the game launched into Early Access at a 17% discount on Steam. The game, originally released back in 2006, has since been retracted and worked on tirelessly to improve upon the mixed reviews it once had.
The game promises to be a sandbox MMO with “a vast landscape teeming with enhanced creatures” if the website is to believed. It boasts over 100 magic spells, a taming system, endless crafting, and a gorgeous game world. We have seen in-depth looks at enemies like Elementals in-game, and have been given peaks into the world at large through the many other developer updates. Dark and Light has been updated at a regular pace by Snail Games for years now, and it is finally ready to be pushed into the world of Early Access.
Some of the most recent changes in the game are things like the high-quality photo mode for those who want to show off the incredible game world they revamped back in April in 1080p or even 360 degree quality. In addition to that, they also updated character models, lighting, animations, and plenty more in preparation for Early Access.
Dark and Light quite recently announced a closed beta for the title, but it was rather short lived and exclusive. Fans and followers of the title who weren’t lucky enough to get in no longer have to wait, though. It can be acquired for $25 on Steam right now!
If you are interested in playing the Dark and Light Early Access, check it out on Steam and get the 17% discount until the 27th of this month.
