Over the past fortnight or so, there has been a number of connectivity issues for the MMORPG Black Desert Online, particularly in the North American territory.
The team behind the game have been working hard to fix this, in what has been an extremely frustrating period for certain fans. It has been confirmed on the official forums that the devs have been contacted by provider Leaseweb, and that the incident has been identified, reported and hopefully resolved.
They will be continuing to monitor the situation to make sure everything runs smoothly, and play should now continue uninterrupted.
The question of whether there would be any compensation for those affected has been raised, who prompted the following response:
We also know that many of you are requesting compensation for the losses and disruption you suffered during this time, we can confirm that we will be providing this, and details will follow soon.
As expected, the team has also apologized for the interruption in play:
We are deeply sorry that this whole incident occurred and took so long to resolve. We ensure you that we will commit to swiftly solving future problems so that all of our players can enjoy a smoother experience.
