“Bless me Father, for I have sinned” is not a phrase anyone would be expected to utter in relation to a video game. That isn’t to say that we all haven’t done something what would be deemed as pretty terrible in the eyes of many when it comes to our favorite games. Let’s face it, we’ve all shot an annoying friend in the back on Rainbow Six Siege, or consistently blown up the same person using a jet in Grand Theft Auto V. Oh, just me? Well, never mind. Let’s move onto some of the darkest secrets held by the many players of World of Warcraft.
Scrolling through, some confessions seemed rather tame at first, some simply admitting things like “Leveling is the worst part of the game and I hate every second of it” or a straight to the point “I hate World of Warcraft.” There is however a tale or two of the utmost savagery, including this story from Dathorias:
I once sniped an old world item from the AH for less than 3% of its market value. Took a few weeks, but I sold it for over 7 million gold. The guy begged and pleaded for it back. He had some fairly plausible story about how it was going to fund game time and raid consumables for his working class friends, but I just thanked him for the free gold and put him on ignore. No time for whiners. I love logging in and looking at my seven figure balance. It is the sweetest thing. Just wish they would increase the number of mounts you can buy from the store.
Meanwhile, Zargamilk expresses hatred for two races in particular in a particularly backhand manner:
Sometimes when i get bored, I fly around ally leveling areas trying to find male nightelfs and worgen ((i hate those races)) and follow them around killing all their quest givers/Flight paths.
Let’s leave the matter on a statement from Èsui, who is admitting something that many of us can relate to:
I have a crush on my character.
If you have anything you’d like to get off your chest in regards to less than favorable actions in World of Warcraft, or you are just having a wicked case of the mondays and would like to confess to any other gaming related errors in judgement, feel free to share your stories in the comments section below. Don’t worry, we won’t judge!
