Conan Exile’s recent patch brought a lot of decent changes to the game, but there are still parts that need fixing. The game’s community gathered some of the current bugs, and Funcom has in turn acknowledged them.
The issues and bugs were listed on Reddit, and Funcom had a really sympathetic reaction to the post. A Funcom community manager ended up listing all the known bugs and issues, some of which were discussed in the previous thread.
“Wonderful post, thank you for this! I’m thinking I’m going to just make a giant bug-report thread for this patch just to put it all in one place, so keep an eye out for it.” – Basco_Funcom
The new official post states that they have gathered various bug reports from Twitter, Reddit, Facebook and Steam, and have compiled a list accordingly. The list includes bugs such as weather effects appearing inside buildings, light stuttering, video memory crashes, mobs spawning in cave walls and Alt-Z not currently turn off the UI.
“Performance is significantly worse this patch. I went from 50-60fps to 28 ish in areas, and everything stutters. Its almost unplayable.” – MagiRaven
This list will grow as the dev team analyzes more bug reports, and it’s great to see them actively work together with Conan Exiles’ player base. Since the original list was posted, players have reported further bugs in comments, such as fall damage mechanics issues, bedrolls killing respawning players and general performance getting worse after the patch. Funcom will be rolling out a hotfix today, which might address some of these issues.
PC: We’re rolling out a hotfix for PC today, between 2pm – 4pm depending on availability. We’re also aiming to do another hotfix on Monday.

A common major issue seems to be occurring for Xbox One players, which basically prevents them from playing. Some players believe this is caused by Conan Exiles’ DDOS prevention system, though the devs have not yet reacted to the issue.
We encourage you guys to continue providing Funcom with constructive feedback, and report any bugs or errors that you encounter. This way, they will be able to come up with fixes that will improve your gameplay experience in Conan Exiles.
