Conan Exiles is aiming to be an open world survival game that players can be proud of. While not the first game to feature the universe, it wants to be the one that lasts the test of time. Thus, why the team at Funcom put their title on Steam Early Access as well as Xbox One preview. They wanted to get feedback from players and then input them into the game. The team has been very good about posting updates, newsletters, and patches on their Steam page, and the latest has just gone up.
Ironically, this if the first one in about two weeks, as key members of the team attended a gaming event called SplashJam. But, they’re back, and happy to report their progress.
In regards to the PC version of the game, they hope to be releasing a new patch for it soon. There’s going to be new repair kids, building pieces, and more through it. So stay tuned for more info.
As for the Xbox One version of the game, a new patch has been sent to Microsoft. They must approve it though before it can go live. This patch will fix the entertainment thralls that have been bugging out, while also allowing you to again summon the god avatars. They’ll release a statement when the patch is out.
In regards to what the team is doing now, they are working on new content, new bug fixes, and more. This includes a brand new weather system that they hope to include in the game soon. Even the art team is working hard to make Conan Exiles even cooler. For example, they improved the model of Conan himself, so now he looks even more epic in cutscenes.
The game will also be one of the supported titles when the Xbox One X arrives next week.
