EA’s E3 press conference has finally gotten underway, and among the hype surrounded the highly anticipated Star Wars Battlefront 2, Need for Speed Payback and others is a co-op orientated adventure game entitled A Way Out.

A Way Out is presented by the team behind Brothers, the 2013 indie game consider one of the best of that year. Addressing the eager audience, director Josef Fares stated that “he wanted to play a game where the characters had unique personalities and goals.”

Check out the trailer below, in which shows two protagonists Vincent and Leo, who look to work together to escape prison.

Josef Fares, who unveiled the game at the conference earlier, started out as a film director, before making his mark in an impressive manner with the 2013 adventure game Brothers. This starred (you guessed it) two brothers who worked side by side to solve a number of puzzles in order to progress. Brothers was considered by many to be one of the highlights of its release year, including Gizmodo’s Evan Narcisse, who describes his experience as something that made him “gasp with wonder and made my chest tight with emotion.” A Way out looks to present something of a similar nature, with fans expecting a release date to be announced in the near future.
