Don’t you just love it when game developers hold a contest to see who can make the best GIFs and memes about their games? Unfortunately, not a lot of developers do these kinds of contests, which are actually great for sparking up the creativity in their player bases. But thankfully, the people that made Cloud Pirates are making one, and it’s called the Grand Steam Contest. If you’re a Cloud Pirates player that has some ideas that would make for great memes or pop culture references while also being connected to Cloud Pirates, be sure to check this competition out.

Cloud Pirates

For those of you that aren’t familiar with the title, Cloud Pirates is an action-packed MMO in which you control flying ships. That’s right, you gain control of a pirate ship that can fly and then you load it with all sorts of weapons so you can fight other players. It’s quite an interesting game, so check it out if you like the idea of flying ships.

For this upcoming contest, you have a lot of options. You can create a GIF, a meme, anything you want to, and then put it on Cloud Pirates’ social Steam platform. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just keep in mind, plagiarism is not okay, so don’t try that.

Fans have until July 14th to submit their entries for the contest. For full details on the competition, head to the announcement on Steam. And if you’re entering the competition, good luck and we hope your memes and GIFs win!
