Citadel: Forged With Fire is a large-scale open-world RPG where you will take the role of a new magical apprentice and set out into the world of Ignis to “try and make a name for yourself.” You can do this any way you want, and learn lots of magical spells in the process. How will you shape your fate? Well, the game has been on Steam Early Access for a while now, and updates continue to roll out to improve it, and today is no different.
For on their Steam page, the team outlined many changes that have come to the Steam Early Access build for the title. Many of which were made to please fans who gave their suggestions on things. Here are the main changes.
First up, the cost of Marble/Ornate has gone down considerably. The team originally raised the cost to make them seem rare, but, it ticked off a lot of players, so they lowered it back down and then some. So you should have a better time not only getting them but using them for other things.
They’ve also made changes to how sieges go down. The spell damage and the structure health in sieges have been reduced. While this technically doesn’t do anything gameplay wise, it is meant to help visually for players to process things easier.
Naturally, the team has been working on fixing bugs and glitches within the game itself so that players can better play the game without fear. This includes fixing some crashing issues, a visual glitch that would let players clip through the floor, and putting less strain on the servers.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, the team teases that next week’s update for Citadel: Forged With Fire will be a very big one. One that will tie into Halloween among other things. So stay tuned for that.
