If a game launches on Kickstarter, they have to work hard to get funding to reach their goal. If they’re successful in reaching that goal, then the journey begin to complete the project they set out to do. For many, the Kickstarters that fund their projects are something to be celebrated and praised, and that’s exactly what Chronicles of Elyria is doing. For it’s been one year since they were on Kickstarter and made over a million dollars in funds, and as such, they’re making some special deals and giveaways to celebrate.

First off, during the month of May, any and all pledge packages that are purchased and paid in full will receive a 10% discount. Now, Chronicles of Elyria offers a layaway function so you can pay for it bit by bit. So you can still do that, but if you want to get the discount, you’ll have to pay for the entire package in full.

Also, if you refer someone to the game, and they make a pledge to support it, you will get a 100% increase in your influence, as well as $10 in in-store credit. Each week this month will offer a new special opportunity. For example, EP next week will go on sale. The week following, Guild Token & Villager Token Contests will be had, and as for week 4…well…that’s a surprise apparently. Spoilers!

Now, if you’re wondering what Chronicles of Elyria is and why you should support it, we’ll tell you. It’s an MMORPG of grand scope where the game is literally affected by what the players do. There’s a powerful A.I that will shape the world based on what happens in it. Plus, your character will actually age as you play through the game, and you’ll see the aging happen. Finally, everything in the game is earned, you will have to put in the effort to get the results that you want.

So, if this sounds like something for you, you can still support the game.
