Victory and glory across three realms is the name of the game in Camelot Unchained. To make sure players know exactly what is going on with Camelot Unchained, the team deliver weekly updates to show progress. This helps in many ways, not the least of which is hearing things from the team themselves and not from other sources.
In their latest weekly update, they noted how the new technology which they got to help ensure that the seamless zone transition happened was done with preliminary testing. They hope to go from simple manual placement of these transitions to automatic placement soon, they’ll keep you posted on it.
A massive stability improvement was made this week for Camelot Unchained. It was a simply improvement to the code library, and through this change, a lot of crashes that had plagued the title was resolved, and as another bonus, future bugs will be easier to find.
The visual effects for the game both got a step forward and a step back this week, but the team is hopeful that they’ll be able to share with you big improvements soon.
In terms of weaponry and items, the ability to calculate effects of weapons and items on a character, called encumbrance, has been implemented. It’s a big step when you think about all the effects and boosts an item or weapon can have on a character.
