Cyanide Studio and Focus Interactive have announced that the Champion Ladder Season X in Blood Bowl 2. This competition follows a major bug fix update which took place earlier this month, which resolved the technical issues which still remained after the release of the Legendary Edition.
The last season, Champion Ladder Season 9, was the first season to take place after the release of the Legendary Edition, of which the 32 qualifying teams who made the play-offs have been congratulated for their participation, with both Cyanide Studio and Focus Interactive both applauding those who took part:
“congratulations to the 32 teams qualified for the Play-Offs! We can’t wait to see how our beloved goblins and halflings are gonna do in the Champion Cup!”
The servers for Blood Bowl 2 are currently down for maintenance, though they will be back for the start of Season X after 4pm CEST today.
The recent bug fix update made changes to several aspects of the game, making alterations to game modes, features, gameplay, stability, GUI, skills and Teams. These were discovered by players who offered feedback on technical issues that they were experiencing, and although there were initial fixes made for immediate issues, the majority of players voted to wait for a major bug fix update before launching the next Champion Ladder competition. This was primarily due to the Champion Ladder having real money on the line, and begins after maintenance at the same time on all of the game’s platforms.
Blood Bowl 2 is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
